This year's Montafon Arlberg Marathon powered by Sparkasse is sure to be full of incredible peak performances with a stunning mountain backdrop. The most beautiful mountain marathon in Western Austria will take runners from the community of Silbertal in the Montafon, up to Winterjöchle at 1,935 metres above sea level and ultimately to St. Anton am Arlberg. The 42,195 metre route, including 1,250 metres of vertical gain, takes place on lush forest and Alpine trails away from any street traffic and passes through the European Conservation Area Verwall in the region between Vorarlberg and Tyrol. Feelings of pure joy will be brought on by this unique experience.
