The Mountain Lakes Volunteer Fire Department is thrilled to host the exciting "Fired Up for the 4th 5K Run" event. Whether you are a seasoned runner or simply looking for a leisurely walk, this 5K is the perfect way to start off your 4th of July celebrations. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join in the fun. There will be discounted entry fees for fire, police, and EMS personnel, with awards given to the fastest male and female in those categories, as well as to overall winners and age group champions.By participating, you will be supporting the Mountain Lakes Fire Department in their mission to protect the community and firefighters. Your entry fees will aid in purchasing new equipment and enhancing training. Limited parking will be available nearby, with all activities taking place at the far end of the parking lot. Enjoy music, refreshments, demonstrations, and the award ceremony before proceeding to the starting line on East Shore Road for an exciting race experience.
