Martigues-Carro La Classique returns for its 40th edition on 21 June 2026, staged by SLC Martigues in the coastal town of Martigues, France. The event combines a seaside 13.5 km trail with a 9 km randonnée, a 5 km charity run (La Solidaire Crédit Mutuel) and a series of Mini Races for children organised with ERA Immobilier. The course is described as running along local greenways to the coastal path by the sea, emphasising a scenic route and community atmosphere for all ages.
The main race is scheduled for a 09:00 start and the organisers note practical participant features such as the return of the event's water ramps and the provision of a reusable écocup for refreshments. Capacity is limited (the event is opening to 2,000 participants for the anniversary) and registrations are currently open; the organiser also runs community training on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 at Stade Paul Langevin.
