The "Marathon & Semi-marathon de l’Ourthe" is a one-day road running event that follows the scenic Ourthe valley and finishes in Hamoir. The event offers multiple distances on the same day — a full marathon (42.195 km) between Angleur and Hamoir, a semi‑marathon (21.0975 km), a 10 km, a 6 km and children’s races — giving options for elite runners, club athletes and families. Organised under the Festival Sport Nature banner, the race highlights historic bridges, stretches of the RAVeL and a predominantly road surface on a slightly ascending profile.
Logistics are a core feature: reception and arrivals are based at the Hall Omnisports in Hamoir and train shuttles are organised from Hamoir to the marathon and semi‑marathon start points (included for those distances). The day includes aid stations and on‑site medical support, with an award ceremony scheduled in the afternoon; the event is also part of the Challenges Delhalle and the Challenge Jogging de la Province de Liège. Participants are advised to consult the official event page for final start points, transport details and any last‑minute updates.
