Outside Whitehall, Central London
The London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 is a central London half marathon routed through Westminster and the City, taking in iconic sights such as Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London and the Thames riverside. The course is promoted as a fast, flat, closed-roads route that showcases London's landmarks and local activations, with musical performances, DJs, dancers and themed cheer stations along the way. The event emphasises a festival-like atmosphere and strong spectator support, making it a distinctive city-centre running experience for participants and onlookers alike.
Entry to the event is managed via a public ballot with second-chance and charity-entry routes; many charities (including Tommy’s and Alzheimer’s Society) offer charity places and participant support. The race finishes in the Whitehall/Downing Street area and is presented by LLHM Ltd in partnership with charity partners and community activations. The event pages include detailed route PDFs and participant guidance, with further practical information available via the official LLHM website and FAQs.
