Start outside Whitehall, London
The London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 is a central London road race that is promoted as the only half marathon to run through both Westminster and the City. The course is described by the organisers as fast and flat and is notable for its closed-road policy which helps create a secure race environment. The event showcases many of London’s most recognisable sights and is positioned as a mass-participation spectacle combining running with live route activations.
Runners pass iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, The Shard and the London Eye while travelling from the Whitehall start area towards a central London finish near Trafalgar Square. The route pages highlight musical performances, DJs, themed cheer stations and other entertainment activations to create an energetic atmosphere for participants and spectators. The event is organised by LLHM Ltd with charity partnerships (for 2026) including Tommy’s and other official charity partners linked from the organisers' site.
