Limlauf 2026

Limlauf 2026 is a community road running event held in Limbach (Kirkel) that features multiple distances for all ages and abilities. The programme for Saturday 29 August 2026 includes a 2 km Schülerlauf, a traditional Halbmarathon, a 10 km race and a ca. 5.3 km Jedermann-Lauf, with village-centre starts and finish in the Dorfhalle area. The event is organised by TV Limbach and takes place along measured, largely flat circuits through the streets of Limbach, designed for fast times and strong local participation.

The Limlauf offers evening starts, on-site refreshments and live result displays in the Dorfhalle, with prizes for top finishers and team awards. Children from the Schülerlauf are brought straight to the award ceremony in the Dorfhalle and all participants can print certificates from the online result lists the day after the race. Practical information such as parking locations, changing facilities and medical provision is published by the organiser, and same-day registration is available in the Dorfhalle.
