LET’S GET MOVING EVENT & 5K (3rd Annual)

Event Overview

Come join us on Saturday, September 20 at Vietnam Veterans Park in Concord, NC for this great inclusive event for people of ALL ABILITIES! Let’s Get Moving for a great event and get all bodies in motion. Proceeds support the work of KennedyStrong Foundation.

Register by Friday, September 6th to be guaranteed a shirt. All supplies after this date are first come first serve.

Schedule

Join us from 8a.m. to noon. There will be a DJ and activities for all.

• 8:00 a.m. - event site opens
• 9:00 a.m. - Buddy Run starts
• 9:30 a.m. - 5K starts
• 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. - Decathlon Activity Adventure course open as an alternative to the run/walk events

Registration & Pricing

1 Mile Buddy Run/Walk: $0

5K: $35

Decathlon Activity Adventure course for non-runners: $25

Virtual 5K: $30

Packet Pickup Details

Packet Pick Up: Thursday, September 19th at the West Cabarrus YMCA in Afton Village from 6pm to 8pm.

What to Bring

Bring your registration confirmation and any necessary items for the event.

Race Day Info

Race Day Packet Pickup opens at 8:00am.

Awards & Categories

5k awards given to overall top 3 male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group.

Parking & Transportation

Parking for this event will be at Harvest Community Church located at 4284 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC 28027. Shuttle service to the park will be available.
