Prater Hauptallee (near Marathonweg / Stadionbadparkplatz)
The "Leopoldilauf des LCC-Wien" is a one-day road running event held in the Prater park in Vienna, using the traditional AIMS-measured 7 km loop as the basis for all distances. The programme offers three race distances—7 km, 14 km and Halbmarathon (21.0975 km)—with the longer races run as multiple laps of the same largely flat circuit. The course is described as completely flat, closed to private traffic and marked with kilometre signs and blue ground markings, making it suitable for fast times and reliable pacing. The event name on the organiser page appears in German as "Leopoldilauf des LCC-Wien" and the venue start/finish is on Prater Hauptallee near Marathonweg/Stadionbadparkplatz.
Timing is provided by Pentek Timing and net-time chip timing is mandatory ("OHNE CHIP GIBT ES KEINE ZEITNEHMUNG"); green chips are available for rental and yellow chips may be purchased. All finishers receive a finisher medal and the finish area provides food and drink, while on-course refreshments (water and Gatorade) are supplied; changing rooms and a cloakroom are available. Entry, late-entry and on-the-day registration windows and fees are published on the organiser site, and the event page states a no-refund policy for start fees except in cases of force majeure. Prize trophies (Pokale) are awarded to top finishers within age categories according to the organiser's published rules.
