Belledonne massif — start at Domaine de Vizille; finish at Aiguebelle, France
L'Échappée Belle is a multi‑distance mountain trail festival centred on the Belledonne massif and organised by Association L'Échappée Belle. The event (L'Échappée Belle) stages several distinct races that range from shorter skyrunning formats to the full traverse, L’intégrale, which is promoted as the integral crossing of Belledonne. The programme for the 14th edition is presented across a long weekend (20–23 August 2026) with detailed athlete pages covering profiles, mandatory kit, aid stations and logistical services such as shuttles and bib pick‑up.
The series is notable for its high alpine terrain, large cumulative elevation gains on the long distances and a mix of technical ridgelines and single‑track trails, with route documentation (profiles and GPX) provided on the organiser site and linked mapping services. The L’intégrale is emphasised as the flagship race (approx. 152 km and ~11,390 m D+ in the organiser material) with explicit rules, time limits and aid‑station planning; several other official distances (Traversée Nord, Parcours des Crêtes, Maratrail, Skyrace du Rocher Blanc) are offered to suit a wide range of mountain runners.
