This 5K Run/Walk is to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. Team Lakewood, which is comprised of residents and staff of the Lakewood Retirement Community is the top fundraiser in the history of Richmond's Walk to End Alzheimer's. We hope to raise over $65,000 this year to support this organization, which supports persons living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers and research. You can help find a cure by participating in our third annual Lakewood/Alzheimer's 5K! 100% of the net profit from this race will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
The official timed in-person 5K takes place at 9:00 am Sunday March 23rd, 2025. The virtual 5K may be completed anytime between noon Saturday March 21st and midnight Wednesday March 26th, 2025.
