La 6000D trails en Savoie is a multi-day trail festival centred on La Plagne in the Tarentaise, headlined by the flagship La 6000D (69 km). The 2026 edition runs from 30 July to 1 August 2026 and combines a high‑mountain endurance race with shorter community and family events across the same weekend. The main 6000D course climbs from Aime toward Live 3000 and the Bellecôte glacier, reaching roughly 3,050 m before returning through station trails and forested descents to finish along the Isère valley. The route is overwhelmingly off‑road (about 95% on trails and mountain paths) and features multiple time gates to protect runner safety.
The festival offers a broad programme of distances and formats including the 69 km solo, a three‑person relay, a 43 km marathon, 30 km and 21 km races plus short family and kids races, and a race village (Village 6D Expo). Logistics emphasise mountain safety: a mandatory kit list, scheduled bib collection windows, wave starts by UTMB index for the long race and lift access for spectators via Live 3000. The organiser promotes eco‑responsible measures and provides recovery services on site, while a limited field size and time gates help preserve mountain access and safety for all participants.
