About
The Königsschlösser Romantic Marathon in the East Allgäu - a stunning region in Bavaria - is an event that attracts over 800 runners each year. This year, runners were treated to the most perfect weather conditions on the day of the run. Starting from the town of Füssen, the course led participants through the Hopfer forest, past Lake Hopfensee, across the floodplain of the river Lech and Lake Forggensee, through lush green meadows and past the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, and finally through the Schwansee woodlands back to the town. The registration fee for this race includes a finisher's medal, a finisher video, a downloadable and printable certificate, a pasta party and timekeeping by davengo. So, don't miss out on the opportunity to take part in this unique race that traverses half asphalt and half forest trails, while taking in some of the most stunning views the area has to offer.
