The Kitzbüheler Radmarathon is a long-distance alpine granfondo held in and around Kitzbühel, Austria. The 2026 edition (Kitzbüheler Radmarathon) is scheduled for 6 September 2026 and features two principal route options that both start in Vorderstadt, Kitzbühel. The signature route (KRM Klassik) covers 216 kilometres with approximately 4,600 metres of climbing and finishes with the iconic ascent to the Kitzbüheler Horn, described by the organisers as the event’s "Grande Finale". An alternative long route (KRM Kitz) is offered over about 209 kilometres and returns to the Vorderstadt finish.
The event is organised from the official event site and uses Racetime Pro for registration and timing; detailed rider information and the INFOFOLDER KRM 2026 (maps, aid stations, start/package pickup times and rules) are published on the organiser’s pages. Race day uses staged/wave starts (first block listed at 06:30) with neutral controlled opening kilometres and electronic chip timing included in the race package. Entry limits, wave assignment rules, mountain classification (Bergwertung) and team classifications are set by the organiser and published on the registration/participant pages. Competitors are advised to consult the official INFOFOLDER and registration pages for the full schedule, start-block assignments and mandatory packet collection rules.
