Welcome to the 2nd annual Kickin' 4 Kellan 6.20K Family Fun Run, which is an annual event celebrating the life of Kellan Moran, who died from cancer at the young age of 6. Kellan's birthday is June 20th, so this is why the run is a 6.20 K, which equates to less than 4 full laps around Pratt Park. Participants can walk, run, and go whatever distance they can in memory of Kellan.
Kellan loved his family. He had a zest for life and never met a stranger! He smiled often and had a contagious laugh. He enjoyed all things outdoorsy, but his favorite was being near the water at the pool or beach. He had a huge love for all things swords and a good sword fight, especially with his Pop Pop! Besides his amazing smile, personality, and fearlessness, you were always greeted with a thumbs up, even on the worst of days during his 13 month battle. His daily strength, bravery, and courage is truly astounding!
We hope you can join us to honor his brief life and celebrate his 10th Birthday, with a bright smile and a thumbs up, just as he always displayed! Runner/walkers of all ages are welcome. Family fun activities available throughout the event.
