Kassel Women's Run 2026

The Kasseler Frauenlauf 2026 (Kassel Women's Run 2026) is a women-focused, community event organised by LSG Kassel e. V. It emphasises celebration, solidarity and inclusivity rather than competition — "kein Wettkampf, kein Stress, keine Uhr" — and raises funds for organisations supporting women and children through entry fees and a tombola.

Race day starts and finishes at the Buchenau‑Kampfbahn, with the majority of routes winding through Park Schönfeld. Distances and activities include a 400 m Bambini run, an 800 m Kinderlauf, a 2.5 km walk, and 5 km and 10 km run/walk options. The programme features a lively warm-up, music, food and drink stalls, kilometre markings, childcare, showers/changing facilities, a tombola and printed certificates for finishers — creating a festival atmosphere suitable for participants and spectators of all ages and fitness levels. Registration is offered online in advance and in person on event days; modest entry fees apply for women with reduced fees for children and teenagers.
