Get ready to join us for the 8th annual Kandace Helms 5K event, celebrating the spirit of a beloved community member and supporting a great cause! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a walk with family and friends, we welcome everyone to this day of love, encouragement, and healthy fun. Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at the Betty G Ross Park. With event shirts and medals guaranteed for early registrations through September 6, you won't want to miss out. Starting bright and early at 7 am for local packet pickup and registration, we kick off the Fun Run at 8 am, followed by the 5K run at 8:30 am. Compete for pride in various age groups or cheer on the athletes striving for top spots in the overall male and female categories. All while contributing to The Kandace Helms Foundation’s mission to support local scholars and youth organizations in memory of Kandace, whose life was as impactful as her smile was radiant. Lace-up for a day where we run, walk, and remember, all for a heartfelt cause.
