The Jūrmala Color Run 2026 will take place on August 23 in Jūrmala, Kauguru Park (Mazā Nometņu iela 1) and will be a real summer festival in motion — not a competition for seconds, but a 5 km distance of joy that you can cover by running, Nordic walking, dancing or simply walking. There is no time control, there is a 2-hour limit, music, DJ, entertainment area and street food atmosphere, but the dress code is white, so that each kilometer becomes more colorful than the previous one. You will be part of the global movement The Color Run™ with its famous slogan "Happiest 5KM on the Planet".
The route runs through the central part of Kauguri (approx. 90% asphalt, 10% cobblestones) and has color stations every kilometer: start with a color shower, 1 km blue, 2 km purple, 3 km orange, 4 km pink, and 4.5 km foam station. The colors are provided by volunteers using 100% natural, food-grade dyes that are safe for people and the environment. There will be a separate ~500 m run for children (2–12 years old) in the Kauguru Park start/finish area, with color blowers only in the finish area and TOP 3 awards in each age group.
