IRONCAT L'AMPOLLA 2026 is a long‑distance triathlon centred on L'Ampolla in the Ebro Delta, with swim, bike and run courses finishing at the Port del Club Nàutic de l’Ampolla. The event offers a full distance (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, 42 km run) and a half distance (1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, 21 km run), both using a rectangular swim in the Port Natural del Fangar and repeated bike and run loops for spectator visibility. The organiser provides a participant guide, official regulation, route maps and registration via the event website to help athletes prepare for the multi‑lap format and local logistics.
The race is positioned in October in L'Ampolla and highlights the coastal setting of the Delta de l'Ebre, with a 30 km bike loop and a multi‑lap run that keeps much of the action close to the finish area. Finishers receive event recognitions (medal and finisher apparel are indicated in the event information) and there is an option to purchase cancellation insurance. Competitor categories, club prizes and age classifications are published in the event rules and prize pages on the official site.
