Hauptallee (near Stadionbad), Wiener Prater, 1020 Vienna
The Int. Wiener Herbstmarathon des LCC-Wien is a compact autumn road running meeting held in the Wiener Prater with start and finish on the Hauptallee near the Stadionbad. The event offers a Marathon, Half‑marathon, a 7 km race and team relays, all run on a certified AIMS course consisting of a 7.0325 km asphalted lap. The route is exceptionally flat (less than 1 metre difference between high and low points) and is described by the organiser as a fast course suitable for PB attempts.
Race services include Champion‑Chip timing (chip rental and purchase options available), a finisher medal for all finishers, aid stations, showers/changing facilities and finish‑area refreshment. A pre‑event social (Kaiserschmarrnparty) is held on 10 October at We Move Running Store Wien Mitte and online registration is open until 7 October with specified on‑site late registration windows. The event is organised by LCC‑Wien; participants are reminded that timing without a valid chip is not possible and that awards are presented to the three fastest women and men in each distance.
