Illmenseer Mountainbike Challenge

The Illmenseer Mountainbike Challenge is a single-day mountain bike event held at the Drei–Seen–Halle in Illmensee on 19 September 2026. The event features two main races: the Kurzdistanz (15 km, approx. 300 m ascent) and the Hauptrennen (45 km, approx. 900 m ascent), run on mainly field, forest and gravel roads. Riders start and finish at the Drei–Seen–Halle where showers and changing rooms are available, and the course layout is published on the SV Illmensee website. The organiser is SV Illmensee e.V., and online registration is handled via DataSport.

The event uses transponder timing with online results and offers Sachpreise (material prizes) for the top three in each class, plus prizes for top children on the Kurzdistanz. Categories cover juniors through veteran age groups and teams must consist of at least three participants; a helmet is mandatory and E‑bikes are not permitted. Bib pickup is available from 10:00 on race day and an early registration bonus (starter shirt) applies for entries completed by the stated early deadline. Participation is at the rider's own risk and the organiser publishes results and basic participant data as part of event administration.
