I am Me Jamboree is open to all ages and features two different event courses!! These courses support the inclusion of individuals with physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities or conditions to fully participate in a 0.5k or 5k race event. There is a 0.5k walk/run/roll event and 5k walk/run/roll event in downtown Columbus, Indiana!! Whether one can participate unassisted, or one needs assistive devices (walker, cane, wheelchair, crutches, supports, scooter, etc.) to complete a course, all are welcome!!
3 hours will be allotted to complete either of the event courses. This removes the stringent minimum mile pace requirement that prevents many from being able to participate in other races. The 0.5k event is approximately 0.3 miles and the 5k is 3.1 miles.
The proceeds from this event will benefit organizations that support and advocate for individuals with disabilities.
Recreational vehicles/devices/bicycles will not be permitted. Strollers and wagons are permitted.
