The Huebener Frühlingslauf is an annual club road-and-trail race organised by Laufsport Verein Frauenfeld (LSV Frauenfeld). The event, listed on the organiser's official page as "Huebener Frühlingslauf", features a compact but testing course that combines natural trails and tarred roads and is promoted as a community season opener. Participants typically assemble at Schulhaus Huben where bib collection begins in the early afternoon and the race traditionally starts in the afternoon.
The course is roughly 11–11.6 km with about 240 m of elevation change and offers a mix of technical trail sections and faster tarmac stretches, making it appealing to both competitive runners and recreational athletes. The organiser provides on-course refreshments (tea and water around mid-course), a valuables depot in the local sports hall, post-race hospitality and a tombola with sponsor prizes, and from 2026 electronic disposable-transponder timing is used. Route GPX and past results are published on the event pages, and practical details such as parking and public-transport access are listed on the organiser site.
