Event Overview
The Home Run 5k and 1M Fun Run will be held in beautiful Americus, Georgia. The route begins at Americus First Methodist Church and winds through historic homes in the neighborhood. Every dollar raised by this event directly benefits the Americus Campus of The Methodist Home. This race is being held in memory of a friend of the home, Jay Williams.

Schedule
Packet Pickup will take place at the church (Americus First Methodist Church) on race day beginning at 6:30am and concluding at 7:45am.
Registration & Pricing
5K: $25 (Price increases after June 4, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT)
Fun Run: $10 (Price increases after June 4, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT)
5k Virtual Race: $30 (Registration ends June 7, 2025 at 7:45am EDT)

Race day is June 7, 2025. The 5K starts at 8:00 AM and the Fun Run starts at 7:45 AM.
Awards & Categories
5k Age Group Categories: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Overall winners will receive a cash prize and will be ineligible in the age group categories. All winners will receive a special piece of artwork created by our girls at the Methodist Home.
Parking & Transportation
Parking is available at the Americus First Methodist Church.
