Herzlauf Oberösterreich — 2026 is a charity community run held on 4 October 2026 at Sportzentrum Traun. The event is organised by Stadtmarketing Traun GmbH in cooperation with Verein VOL and benefits Herzkinder Österreich, with proceeds supporting families of children with heart conditions. The day brings a mixed programme of children’s races, main running events and Nordic walking, and includes on-site activities and catering for participants and spectators.
The race day features dedicated children’s races (200 m, 400 m and 800 m), main running options over 5 km and 10 km, and a 5 km Nordic Walking course, with chip timing provided for the timed events by TIME NOW SPORTS OG. All finishers receive a finisher medal and starter bag, certificates are available via the timekeeper’s results portal, and an after-run party with refreshments follows the awards. The event emphasizes inclusivity for beginners to experienced runners while raising funds for Herzkinder Österreich.
