Domplatz, 38820 Halberstadt, Germany
The Harzer Radmarathon (Harzer Radmarathon) returns for its third edition on Saturday 27 June 2026, with a start and finish on the Domplatz in Halberstadt. The event offers a very wide range of distances for cyclists, explicitly listing routes from around 11 km up to the longest Harzumrundung of 303 km with almost 3,000 metres of ascent. Routes traverse the Harz region and adjacent districts and call at notable local landmarks, making it a long-distance sportive with strong scenic and terrain variety.
Start times are staggered by route across a broad window between 05:30 and 15:00, with first finishers expected from 16:00 and a final Zielschluss (finish cut-off) at 22:00; an awards ceremony is scheduled for about 21:15. The programme also includes family-oriented activities on the Domplatz such as a children’s cycling parcours and a small race, aid stations roughly every 35–50 km, and an After-Ride party on the Domberg. Entrants are directed to the official event site (harzumrundung.de) for registration, detailed route maps and the latest participant information.
