AHORN Hotel Braunlage, Braunlage, Harz, Germany
Harzen tilmelding 2026 (Varde Cykelklub) is a four-day club trip organised by Varde Cykelklub for members, travelling to the Harz Mountains with hotel accommodation at AHORN Hotel Braunlage. The trip runs from 7 May 2026 (departure) to 10 May 2026 (return) and includes road, gravel and mountain biking options suitable for varied abilities. Registration opens on 31 January 2026 and closes on 15 March 2026, with payment required at sign-up and no standard refunds; members may transfer their place to another rider. VCK provides a subsidy of DKK 600 per eligible member to reduce the participant fee.
Rides are organised in guided groups with designated route leaders and options to split or stop halfway depending on ability, and participants travel by carpool in their own vehicles. Accommodation typically uses double rooms with breakfast and evening buffets included; a single-room supplement is offered for an additional fee. The event is aimed at club members and children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult, while membership since 1 August 2025 is required to qualify for the subsidy.
