Gran Sasso d'Italia Bike Marathon 2026

Bike Marathon Gran Sasso d’Italia 2026 (commonly shown on the organiser site as Road Bike Marathon) is a Gran Fondo road cycling event taking place on 28 June 2026 with the meeting and start at Fonte Cerreto di Assergi, L'Aquila. The event offers three official distances—Corto (90 km), Medio (110 km) and Extreme (135 km)—and is limited to 1,500 participants with tiered early-bird and late registration windows. Official timing is chip-based (MySdam) and the organiser publishes detailed regulations including eligibility, medical certificate requirements and time cut-offs. The event is presented in conjunction with the Adriatic Series and uses the event website for official communications and registration links.

Start waves are scheduled at 06:30 for the Extreme route and 07:00 for the Medio and Corto routes, with bib pickup on Saturday 27 June (14:00–19:30) and Sunday 28 June (05:00–06:30). Entries typically include a race bib, mechanical assistance, aid stations, finish-line refreshments, a pasta party and shower facilities, while early registration tiers include a T-shirt. Eligibility is licence- and medical-certificate based, professionals/élite and under-23 riders are excluded from official classification, and strict course cut-offs and conduct rules apply.
