The event titled "Halbmarathon - ASC Göttingen" takes place on Sunday 10 May 2026 with start and finish at the Jahnstadion Göttingen. The meeting offers multiple distances in a single event: the Halbmarathon (21.1 km), Viertel Marathon (10.6 km) and the Zwanzigstel Marathon (2.1 km), plus relay (Staffel) and school team classifications. The race is organised by ASC Göttingen von 1846 e.V. and open for registrations on the organiser's official event page.
The course runs along mixed surfaces, including natural paths and asphalt by the Kiessee and the Leineufer, through forests, fields and town streets, and uses a self-seeded multi-wave start based on target finishing times. Official timing is provided by RUNTIMING GbR with the timing chip integrated on the back of the bib (no return required) and a stated finish closure (Zielschluss) at 13:30. On-course aid stations, catering in the finish area, secure bag storage, changing and shower facilities are provided and an event shirt is available to order until 31 March 2026 for an additional fee.
