San Francisco, USA
The Golden Gate Half is more than just a 13.1-mile run through San Francisco — it’s a spectacular journey through this stunning City by the Bay. Line up at the storied Muni Pier in Aquatic Park with magnificent views of Alcatraz and the Bay, then trek through the Marina and Presidio as the bridge draws ever closer.
Once you reach this masterpiece of cable and steel, you’ll travel on the Eastern Walkway toward Vista Point then head back to the City on the Western Walkway — crossing the Golden Gate Bridge as part of the course. After you exit the bridge, the last leg of the half follows the Golden Gate Promenade to Fort Point, then returns through the Marina to the Marina Green finish line.
Whether you’re racing the clock or running for fun, the event is chip-timed and includes plentiful water, aid, and comfort stations along the route. Don’t miss the exclusive 2025 race shirt and finisher medal.
