Gigasport Halbmarathon Graz – Der Frühlingsklassiker!

The Gigasport Halbmarathon Graz – Der Frühlingsklassiker! is a one-day city-centre running festival held in Graz with start and finish at Karmeliterplatz. The event features multiple distances for adults and children, including a half marathon, quarter marathon, eighth marathon and Kids Run, and the course is promoted as AIMS‑measured. The route leads through Graz's inner city and highlights urban landmarks, giving runners a traffic‑controlled city circuit and a spectator‑friendly finish on Karmeliterplatz. The event is organised locally by Hikimus Event & Werbeagentur together with live‑marketing partners and presented by MeinBezirk.

Race timing is provided by Race Result with the timing chip integrated in the race bib, and every finisher receives a starter bag and a finisher medal. Bib collection is offered on multiple days before race day at GIGASPORT Graz with on‑site pickup on race morning at Freiheitsplatz for those who need it, and showers/changing facilities are available at the Landesleistungszentrum (LSO). On‑route aid stations, medical support by the Red Cross and official event photography (Foto Viertbauer) are provided, and participants are asked to travel by public transport because no event parking is reserved.
