Germania - Eroica

Germania - Eroica is a vintage-cycling festival taking place in the Rheingau centred on Eltville on 22 August 2026. The event combines sportive rides with a lively festival atmosphere, sending riders through vineyard-strewn lanes and picturesque Rhine villages. The organiser presents three route options (short, middle and long) that traverse both asphalt and unpaved roads, making the meeting as much about the landscape and heritage as about performance.

The festival element features live music, a Concours d'Elegance for vintage racing bicycles, local wines and regional products, and a market specialising in vintage bikes and accessories. Route-specific start times are published on the official event pages and the long route includes substantial climbing (the event listing shows c.2,150 metres of elevation gain for the longest course).
