The Gänserndorfer ROTE NASEN LAUF is a local edition of the national ROTE NASEN LAUF charity series held on 14 June 2026 at Rathausplatz in Gänserndorf. The event is organised with support from Stadtgemeinde Gänserndorf and aims to raise funds for clown visits to hospital patients, including children on paediatric and oncology wards. Participation is open to everyone and the emphasis is on fun and solidarity rather than competition, with dressing up encouraged to add colour and humour to the day.
The format is a short 750 metre loop around Rathausplatz (Rathausplatz – Hauptstraße – Schrammelweg – Scheunengasse – Rathausgasse) that participants may complete repeatedly during the official running window of 10:00–12:00. Children have play stations along the route, each lap earns a stamp, and a Siegerehrung (award ceremony) is scheduled after the run; every registered participant receives a ROTE NASEN start package that includes a red foam nose. Registration is available online before the event and on-site on the day, with local pricing and family tariffs handled via the national rotenasenlauf.at registration system.
