The Fürst Carl Seenlandmarathon is a multi-discipline running festival held at the Brombachsee (Fränkisches Seenland) in Pleinfeld, Bavaria. The event combines a full marathon (two laps), a half marathon (21.0975 km), a marathon relay (2–6 runners), shorter hobby distances and youth races, plus accompanying weekend activities such as a sport fair/expo, race village and festival tent. The course is promoted as a scenic, largely flat lakeside loop that is attractive to both recreational and competitive runners.
The weekend is family-friendly with offerings for children and youth (including Bambinilauf and Schülerlauf), as well as walking and Nordic walking options. The event features pacemakers on selected distances (notably marathon and half marathon), time limits on specific races, and organised race services that support both competitive and recreational formats. The surface is predominantly well-maintained gravel with short asphalt sections, providing panoramic views around the lake and accessible spectator points.
Organisers emphasise the community character and festival atmosphere, welcoming marathon relay teams and visitors to a programme of entertainment and expo activities. Official information and registration are published on the organiser's website.
