Join Us for the First Responder 5K!
Lace up your running or walking shoes and get ready to make a difference at the First Responder 5K hosted by SERVPRO of Mt Pleasant, Clare and Houghton Lake. This is a dynamic and inspiring event dedicated to supporting our local heroes. This exciting race is more than just a run—it's a community celebration aimed at raising funds for the Isabella County First Responders Fund, the purpose of the fund is to facilitate the development of cooperative efforts in first responder education, fire prevention, public safety education, emergency care, hazardous material safety, and other areas related to the many fire departments that serve Isabella County.
The route winds through beautiful, paved trails along the Chippewa River starting and finishing at Island Park.
Registration Opens March 1, 2025 at 5:00am EST
Early Bird Registration: Save $5 if you register before August 15th. Standard Registration: Register by October 5th to guarantee a custom t-shirt.
Details about packet pickup will be provided closer to the event date.
Participants are encouraged to bring their running or walking shoes, comfortable clothing, and a positive attitude!
Race day is October 25th, 2025. The race starts at 9:30 AM.
All finishers will receive a custom medal to celebrate their accomplishment!
