About
The Etown Trail Classic is a challenging and FUN event that will take place at the Veterans Memorial Park in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. This is your chance to enjoy some beautiful Kentucky spring weather on a 3.2 mile well maintained trail. You can run the 8 hour endurance ultra or run the 5k, you can run the ultra as an individual or as a part of a 2-person relay team.
We will have a well-stocked hydration and nutrition aid station available for runners. Music & a high-energy atmosphere will be waiting for you at the completion of each lap! Friends and family will also enjoy the numerous spectator viewing spots located around the course. The objective 8 hour ultra is to run as many loops as you can or want to in 8 hours.
The TKS cheer team will be there to cheer on runners as they cross the line throughout the day.
Awards
There will be awards for the top male/female/team finishers based on mileage completed in the 8 hour ultra, along with a finisher's prize for all runners. The 5K will have awards for the top 3 over all Male and Female runners. Plus, we’ll draw bib numbers for runners to win awesome swag!
PIT AREA
Runners are able to set up chairs, blankets (no larger than 10x10) in the field past the start/finish line. Tents are also welcome for those wanting a little extra space.
Swag
We will have additional swag available to order ahead of time and day of race for those interested.
Our Purpose
All proceed from this race will go to the TKS Middle School Cheer Team. These funds will help purchase new uniforms, equipment, and competition Fees/classes. My wife and I took over the Team in the 24/25 school year and we a striving to improve and expand the program.
