Etape Caledonia - The UK's Original Closed-Road Sportive returns to Pitlochry on Sunday 10 May 2026, offering riders closed-road loops through the Scottish Highlands. The event is promoted as the UK’s original closed-road sportive and is presented in partnership with charity partner Cancer Research UK, with dedicated charity places and fundraising options. All routes start and finish in Pitlochry and showcase lochs, forest-lined roads and notable climbs such as Schiehallion, delivering a dramatic Highland riding experience for a broad range of cyclists.
The 2026 edition offers three loop distances (roughly 40, 55 and 85 miles) so riders can choose a short, mid or full challenge on fully closed roads. The organiser highlights the spectator-friendly finish in Pitlochry and on-site event village content, and participants are offered charity-team support, event merchandise and post-ride reception opportunities. For full route maps, registration and participant information consult the official event website.
