La Sarabande des filles de La Rochelle is a women-only city road race held on 9 May 2026 in La Rochelle. The principal event is a 7 km course with a mass start from the Quai de la Georgette at 15:00, organised in waves of 1,000 participants and limited to 3,200 entries. Registration is online only and requires either an FFA licence or an equivalent medical certificate (PPS); the organiser promotes an eco-friendly, zero-paper approach to entries and event administration. The race enforces a 1 hour 15 minute time limit for the 7 km distance.
The race village takes place in the grande halle de l’Encan (côté Aquarium) and is open on race day from 10:00 to 14:00, with bib collection at the same venue between 10:00 and 14:00 (ID and the QR code sent on registration required). The village features volunteers, partners and exhibitors, animations and a photobooth and is open to the public, with nearby short-term free parking and encouragement to use clean mobility such as cycling or the Illico bus. Event rules prohibit accompanying persons on bicycles or rollers, prohibit male companions even if disguised, and forbid children on the finish line; the full regulations are published in the Reglement 2026 document linked on the official page.
