Discover the breathtaking landscapes of the John Day River Valley while taking part in the Eastern Oregon Half Marathon, a beloved tradition in the region. Runners can choose between the challenging 13.1-mile course, or opt for the shorter 5k or 10k races. As you cross the finish line, be greeted by the cheers of excited spectators. This event supports the Spray Rodeo Association, with proceeds benefitting the Spray Community Fund and the Spray Rodeo operating fund. Winners will be rewarded with high-quality belt buckles, adding an extra element of thrill to the competition. Experience a classic race on paved roads with picturesque views, all in support of a meaningful cause. Prizes will be given out in various age groups, followed by an awards ceremony. Transportation to the start line is available, as well as options for food and drinks. Please be cautious while running, as the race does not close the highway and traffic could be heavy due to the Spray Rodeo.
