DresdenHALF Weekend is a two-day running festival centred on the new DresdenHALF half marathon and a programme of shorter, family-friendly races. The flagship DresdenHALF race covers 21.1 km through Dresden's historic city centre, following the Elbe riverbanks and passing landmarks such as the Semperoper, Zwinger and Frauenkirche. The festival branding emphasises a next-level race experience and the event’s twin-cities concept, with each mile dedicated to one of Dresden’s thirteen partner cities.
The weekend includes the main DresdenHALF (21.1 km) on Sunday plus the EWG Dresden5K, DresdenHALF KidsRUN (2.1 km) and the BambiniRUN (400 m) on Saturday, all sharing the DresdenHALF finish environment. Race services announced on the official pages include packet pickup windows, a free bag drop, an expo area with merchandise and a finisher medal plus a downloadable personal certificate for all finishers. Early discounted registration phases are published on the organiser site, and the event communications encourage booking in advance to secure entry and merchandise options.
