Dreiländereck-Berglauf is the mountain running event organised by Laufsport Hermagor and promoted as the ninth Sommeredition (DIE NEUNTE DreiländerAtteck Sommeredition 22.08.2026). The programme spans two days with a Kinderlauf held on 21 August and the main Berglauf and Nordic Walking on 22 August. The 2026 edition explicitly includes the Kärntner Meisterschaften BERGLAUF (Carinthian mountain running championships), so regional titles are awarded within the race classification. Entrants are given a startsackerl and a pasta‑party voucher as part of the race package.
The Berglauf route is a steep mountain course of 5 km with approximately 800 m ascent finishing at the Dreiländereckmarterl; a GPX file is provided by the organisers for navigation. Race day services include a labestation on course and at the finish, bag transfer for participants and a prize ceremony at the Dreiländereckhütte about 60 minutes after the last finisher. The event also offers a Nordic Walking start and a separate Kinderlauf for younger athletes, with registration handled via RaceResult and on‑site number collection at the Vereinshaus Schiclub Arnoldstein. Practical notes on parking, lift return options and safety guidance for the Dreiländereck paths are published on the official event page.
