Dieburg City Run

The Dieburger Stadtlauf is a single-day road running festival held in Dieburg city centre with start and finish on the Marktplatz. Organised by TV 1863 Dieburg e.V. – Abteilung Leichtathletik, the 24th edition on 20 June 2026 stages races for children, youths and adults including a Bambini race, youth categories, a 4 km team/run and a 10 km main race. Registration is handled via an online portal (RaceResult) with on-site late entries possible if places remain; bib pick-up is available from 14:00 at the Pater-Delp-Haus near the Rathaus/Marktplatz.

The programme emphasises broad participation and community competition: there are school and team classifications (including a school trophy) alongside age-group podiums with trophies and certificates from U10 upwards, and commemorative medals for all Bambinis. Races use a lap-based course on city-centre roads around the Marktplatz; course maps and detailed route information are provided on the event website. Results and participant certificates are published via the RaceResult results portal. Facilities around the start/finish are limited and the organisers note that showers and changing rooms are not available nearby; prizes will not be posted after the event.
