Wembury War Memorial Village Hall, Wembury (main start for Ultra & 75km)
The Devon Coast to Coast Ultra & Marathon (Devon Coast to Coast Ultra Marathon) is a coast‑to‑coast trail event following the Two Moors Way across Devon, linking Wembury on the south coast with Lynmouth on the north coast. The weekend (Saturday 18 April to Sunday 19 April 2026) offers four distances: a 112‑mile non‑stop ultra, a 100 km option, a 75 km route and the Exmoor In A Day marathon, each using self‑navigation and event waymarking on open moorland and road sections. The event is organised by ClimbSouthWest and the official event pages and handbook provide route GPX, logistics and checkpoint information for participants.
All entries include mandatory tracker hire and live GPS tracking is provided, with fully stocked checkpoints on the longer distances and GPX/OutdoorActive route files available for navigation. Pre‑event transport is offered from the finish to the various start locations (note there is no post‑event return transport) and an optional XCover insurance add‑on is available to cover refunds in qualifying circumstances. The weekend is suitable for runners and walkers on specified distances and the organiser provides a detailed handbook and support resources to help entrants plan kit, timing and logistics.
