The Devil Dog 5k and 10K are competitive yet family friendly events that is intended to bring together friends, family and local businesses to raise the awareness to the needs of injured men and women who dedicated their lives to protect our country.
1st Place Overall Male and Female win a free pair of shoes from Fleet Feet Delray Beach! 1st, 2nd & 3rd Overall Men and Women will receive plaques and amazing swag! All participants will receive custom medals!.
Wounded Veterans Relief Fund exists to provide emergency financial support to qualified disabled veterans living in Florida. Saving lives and keeping families together is our mission.
Event details and schedule:
PACKET PICK UP: Thursday (September 22) 4:30pm-7:30pm, Friday (September 23) 4:30pm-6:30pm, Saturday (September 24) 8am-12pm (noon) at Evolution Fitness Boca, 9793 Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL 33434 (Behind Best Buy). Packets can also be picked up on Race Day starting at 6am.
RACE DAY: South County Regional Park, Boca Raton, at the Sunset Pavilion, 7:30am start time.
VIRTUAL RUNNERS: Welcome to the Virtual Devil Dog 5K and 10K! Traditionally, Virtual races encourage you to run anytime during the race day weekend. We want to offer you the challenge of really running the Devil Dog 5K or 10K by starting on race day at the same time as the in-person participants! Our race will begin promptly at 0730 on September 25th. You can track your time, but no submission is necessary. We will mail you your race medal and t-shirt or tank top 1 week after the race. THANK YOU for running and supporting our efforts to help wounded veterans.
