Deister-Crossing is a one-day, nature-focused endurance event held in the Deister region with start and finish at IGS Springe. The event on 13 September 2026 offers multiple distances for both runners and walkers, including marathon, half‑marathon and 10 km options, and provides chip timing for official results. The course is promoted as a naturnahe (natural) extreme experience and features the notable "Deisterhölle" climb with a continuous 200 m elevation gain on the marathon route, giving the event a distinctive, challenging character.
The official Ausschreibung sets organised start waves and a morning check-in, with start number collection from 07:15 and race starts from 08:00 onward. Participants can expect aid stations with new seating and filled rolls for walkers, showers/changing facilities at the IGS sports hall, parking options and regional rail access (S5 to Springe). Finishers receive a commemorative Weizenbier glass; there are prize ceremonies for top running finishers and patches planned for walkers, and the organiser provides participant insurance and online certificates.
