Get ready to be a part of a historic moment at this year's Pride Run 5k! In the wake of last year's record-smashing event, we're ramping up the energy and expecting about 5,000 runners to take over Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Washington, DC. We've made incredible memories in the past and now it's time to lace up those shoes for a run down one of the most iconic roads in the nation. This isn't just a race; it's a celebration of World Pride and every stride will be filled with pride. Join us – let’s make history together on the track and show the world how we shine!
After a record-breaking race in 2024 that welcomed nearly 1,300 runners to Congressional Cemetery, the Pride Run 5K is proud to celebrate World Pride by welcoming up to 5,000 runners to the heart of Washington, DC. The event follows the historic Pennsylvania Avenue 5K route.
The DC Front Runners Pride Run is excited to partner with the Capital Cup for World Pride. Course map and final route details will be posted on the event website closer to race day.
5K: $50 (youth: $35 for ages 1–20). Race day is June 1, 2025. The 5K is scheduled for 09:00 AM EDT (timing window referenced as 09:00AM EDT - 11:30AM EDT). Price increases after February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST. Registration opens January 20th.
You MUST pick up your shirt in person if you choose a swag option. Packet pickup details (locations/times) will be provided closer to the event date and posted on the event website.
Participants should bring their registration confirmation and a valid ID. Full race-day instructions, start line details, and timeline will be published before the event.
Awards will be given to the top finishers in various categories. Specific award categories and prizes will be announced prior to race day.
