Triathlon Stadion / Main‑Danube Canal, Roth, Bavaria, Germany
DATEV Challenge Roth is the world’s largest long‑distance triathlon and the premier long‑distance triathlon event in the Roth district (Landkreis Roth) of Bavaria. The 2026 edition is confirmed for 5 July 2026. Athletes race the classic long‑distance format — a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike and a 42.195 km run — with the swim in the Main–Danube Canal near Hilpoltstein and the iconic finish in the Triathlonstadion in Roth. Signature moments include the sunrise canal swim, the legendary Solarer Berg (Solar Hill) climb and an energetic finish‑line party in the stadium. The organiser will publish detailed timetables, start times, start lists, athlete check‑in windows and other athlete information on the registration and athlete‑guide pages once finalised.
Race week is delivered as a festival‑style sports market with an expo, partner activations, professional photography and broadcast options, food and drink services, travel and shuttle guidance, accommodation and camping choices, family‑friendly side events, relay and children's runs, and a large volunteer workforce supporting event operations. The event attracts broad spectator areas and extensive local hospitality.
The organiser highlights a commitment to clean sport and cooperation with anti‑doping initiatives. Registration pathways include standard entries and a Late Entry Draw; updates and detailed logistics are shared via the official website and social channels.
