Cycle for Shelter - Emmaus

Cycle for Shelter is Emmaus’ signature fundraising cycling event, scheduled for Sunday, 13 September 2026. Founded in 1989 after a 1,200‑mile inaugural ride, the event has raised more than $2.4 million over 38 years and remains a core community fundraiser. The 2026 edition brings together riders, volunteers and supporters in Haverhill to raise funds for Emmaus’ homelessness programmes. Historically nearly 200 cyclists take part and dozens of local businesses and restaurants sponsor the ride.

Participants register to fundraise for Emmaus and are given until 18 October 2026 to reach the stated fundraising target.
