Covered Bridge Classic - PA

The Covered Bridge Classic in Lancaster County offers beautiful cycling routes of varying distances that pass through covered bridges and Amish farms, showcasing the scenic terrain of the area. Participants can choose from routes of 100, 65, 50, and 35 miles, with moderate climbing along rolling terrain. The event, organized by the Lancaster Bicycle Club, features multiple start locations for riders to select based on their preferred distance. Proceeds from the ride support bicycling-related activities and covered-bridge repair and restoration grant programs. The event includes a rolling start from 7 am to 9 am, with a mandatory 9 am start time and a 4:00 pm end time. Registration is required in advance, with no day-of registration available. Participants must wear helmets and adhere to all road rules. Refreshments, hydration, and mechanical support are provided along the routes at rest stops. High-quality T-shirts are available for purchase, with the option to pre-order before the deadline. The event is rain or shine, and SAG services are available for emergencies only.
