Cliffs Run Harzgerode: Natural Run in the Selke Valley (descriptive)

The Harzgeröder Klippenlauf : Naturlauf im Selketal Harz is an annual multi-distance trail running event held in and around Harzgerode. The programme on 7 June 2026 includes a 1 km childrens Schnupperlauf, a 2.5 km Schülerlauf, a 5 km Jedermannlauf, a 15 km Hauptlauf and a 21.1 km half marathon, plus walking and Nordic walking options, all routed on forest paths, singletrack and field trails through the Selketal. The event is organised by WSV Harzgerode e.V. and promotes a compact, family-friendly day of racing and outdoor recreation in the Unterharz region.

Racing on the day is chip-timed and features on-site bib collection, with start times staggered through the morning (the half marathon begins at 09:33). Practical services include on-site purchase of bib bands and pre-ordered event shirts, parking close to the start area and basic changing/cooling facilities nearby; prize giving follows completion of the final races.
